The NHS Flu vaccine is FREE in community pharmacy for anyone who

- is a close contact of an immunocompromised individual

Flu vaccination is important because:

more people are likely to get flu this winter as fewer people will have built up natural immunity to it during the COVID-19 pandemicif you get flu and COVID-19 at the same time, research shows you're more likely to be seriously illgetting vaccinated against flu and COVID-19 will provide protection for you and those around you for both these serious illnesses

We also offer a private flu vaccination service for anyone 18-49 years of age who is not eligible for a free NHS vaccination or who prefers the convenience of a private vaccination service..
There is a £15 charge for the private service.  

Book an available appointment for a time that suits you or call in to the pharmacy on spec where we will administer your flu vaccine if a trained vaccinator is present (immediate vaccination cannot be guaranteed but every effort will be made to accommodate.)

There is a longstanding belief about the therapeutic “hour.” The therapy session traditionally consists of 45 to 50 minutes, rarely a full 60 minutes. The reason for this reduced hour is to allow a therapist with a full day’s schedule to have a few minutes to write clinical notes and attend to personal needs.

This 50-minute hour is often mandated by insurance and acknowledged as a standard, therapy session. I have determined, through my many years in my practice, that a 90-minute time frame is optimal for most clients. Of course, this is your decision.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) is a form of trauma-focused therapy developed to reduce the power of traumatic memories. The goal of EMDR therapy is to enable the patient to have a less distressing view of their traumatic experience. EMDR therapy is best for clients who want to focus on relief from trauma and who have trouble talking about their trauma. You don’t have to discuss as much with EMDR. Together we will determine if EMDR therapy could be an appropriate treatment for you.

How to read Visa for DRC

Valid date: the period within which the visa has to be used for the prime entry - therefore ALL visa has to be used for the FIRST ENTRY within 3 months

Duration: length of stay in DRC from the date of first entry on Congolese territory.

The visa can be re-used in reference to the date of first entry.
