The art of Ayurvedic Foot (Padabhyanga) Massage includes a combination of various Swedish massage techniques with the use of warmed oils. Kasa bowl work to stimulate the Marma (acupressure) points of the feet, hot towel treatment to end. According to Ayurveda and Reflexology, massaging the feet is akin to massaging the entire body. In addition to encouraging detoxification and restoring the body's energy, this massage helps to promote circulation, a healthy nervous system and restorative sleep. 

This massage is done with the client resting on the table, fully clothed.

Massage oil or cream is used with smooth gliding strokes. Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation ease muscle tension and create other health benefits.

I have been a massage therapist for 19 years. I can feel when your muscles are tight, knotted, weakened, or are being inhibited (or stuck) by your fascia, and I am trained in how to bring your muscles back to their healthy resting length. 

Together, we will loosen your muscles, unstick your fascia, remove your knots, and help weakened muscles gain traction again. 

I offer both relaxation and deep tissue massage, but no need to decide that now. When you arrive for your appointment, we will discuss what’s going on with you and design our time together to fit what you need.
