Massage OptionsCustom Massage – During your intake process and initial evaluation, your massage therapist will be able to assess what would be the best massage for your needs and blend all massage types and different techniques to address your specific needs.Deep Tissue Massage - Involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles) and targets tension areas. It is mostly used for chronic aches and pain on contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.Swedish Massage – Is the most common type of massage, and it involves soft, long, kneading strokes, as well as light, rhythmic, tapping strokes, on the most superficial muscle layers. Because of the light pressure used, it is considered a relaxation massage, but its benefits go beyond relaxation. It can help increase the level of oxygen in the blood and improve both circulation and flexibility.Sport Massage (stretching) – Like the Deep Tissue Massage, it uses a firm pressure, focusing on muscles and connective tissue deep within the body, but your therapist will incorporate assisted stretching and the session can be focused on a specific area of the body.

Optimally, eating about 2 to 3 hours before your session is best. * Don't consume alcohol or any substance that can effect your blood pressure adversely. * Don't take insulin or other altering medications right before or right after your session.
