N95 Mask Fit Testing

Fit testing operates seven days a week. The Clinical Worker Team is prioritising those on the Clinical COVID pathway. Ensuring you have a correctly fitted mask is vital when caring for patients.

CALHN’s Clinical Worker Health service provides mask fit testing at the RAH and TQEH and can be contacted at Health.CALHNMaskFitTesting@sa.gov.au.

As a reminder, there is a need to be clean shaven wherever the respirator comes into contact with the face. Facial hair (even very short stubble) interferes with the seal of the respirator to your face, thereby reducing its efficiency to provide protection. A moustache that does not interfere with the seal of the respirator is acceptable.
