Rattlesnake Aversion Training | New Dogs
First time dogs to snake avoidance training undergo the 4 step process described in our website's training section. Whether on-site or in-home, the lesson is ALWAYS a "private lesson" - meaning it is always just you, your dog, and the trainer. To clarify further, when you come to us, your dog will not be around other dogs during training. We space out appointments to minimize distractions. We can train up to 2-3 dogs at a time if it is the same owner.

Rattlesnake Aversion Training | Follow Up
Formerly called a "follow up". These are for dogs who have been previously rattlesnake trained. This lesson provides the opportunity to make sure a dog retained the lesson well, and/or to reinforce more training on any dog that needs it. Even for those who remember the snakes perfectly, the safe exposure during a reminder lesson is a great way to put rattlesnakes back on their mind. This is important if it has been a little while since they have seen one, or if they are getting into trouble with snakes. While some dogs would benefit from frequent reminders, we do recommend that all dogs get *at least* one reminder per year since their initial training.
