This service can be part of your routine care or new client appointment and a separate appointment doesn't need to be booked. Only book this appointment if you do not wish to have a dental hygiene treatment and only want desensitization. This service may or may not be covered under your dental benefit plan, a pre-authorization can be done on select insurance plans to verify if it is covered.
