Danielle graduated from the University of Westminster at the highest level as a Sports Massage and Soft-tissue Therapy Massage Practitioner with North London School of Sports Massage (NLSSM) Diploma Level 5 (BA Hons), in 2014.
In 2021 Danielle achieved certification as a Back Pain Specialist and Advanced Exercise Prescription for GP patients suffering Underlying Health Conditions. She has a passion for treating those of all ages and fitness levels with a focus on longevity
Danielle also holds a qualification in Personal Training (REPs Level 3 & 4 including ‘Future Fit’ Strength and Conditioning health Coaching and nutrition advice). Her passion for fitness and injury prevention lead her to incorporate a rounded whole body treatment approach into her practice.
Danielle has worked alongside Premier League medical staff and Physiotherapists to deliver the best treatment to those of all professions, ages and fitness levels. Her focus is on the areas of the body that are overused and stressed from repetitive movements to reduce pain and wear and tear. Promoting flexibility, reducing fatigue and improving endurance to help prevent injuries and optimise performance both in activities and sports as well as day to day life.
She uses a variation of scientifically approved techniques to offer a holistic intervention to promote natural recovery of the Musculoskeletal system such as deep tissue, sports massage, MFR, trigger points, MET and STR to help with a multitude of conditions. She also empowers the patients to apply self-help strategies for use in an outside the clinic/sporting environment to further progress and assist clients towards their desired goals.
Danielle has been contracted with West Ham United FC completing four seasons, as well as establishing a ProActive Massage in-house clinic at Central School of Ballet and has experience at sporting events such as the Rugby World Cup, London Marathon, and Royal Regatta alongside her regular clinics treating professional gymnasts, Actors, theatre performers and semi-pro athletes competing in student sports teams/clubs: cycling, power-lifting, basketball rock climbing, running, volleyball, football, cricket, lacrosse and Hockey to name a few. Scar Work Therapy
Scar Work Therapy is a gentle technique that helps to improve the health and feel of scars from surgeries and accidents. Clients often comment their scars feel softer, look better and are less painful following treatment. Generally a course of treatment is recommended for optimal results but even a single session can produce visible change. All scars can be addressed including Caesarean section, hysterectomy, key hole surgery, joint replacement, breast surgery and scars from accidents. Old and new scars respond well to treatment.
Our 50-minute sessions are suitable for treating 1-2 small scar areas with an upper or lower body massage or 1 small-large area with a full-body massage.
Your initial appointment must be at least 6+ weeks post-surgery or +8 weeks post C-section, and after you have had a follow up with your medical team to check your scar healing. We may be in touch to contact your surgeon prior to therapy (with your agreement) to ensure we can deliver the best care.
