Hey, I’m Amiritani,

Firstly, well done for finding the courage to reach out for help and taking that first step which is crucial for transforming your life.

Although challenges are an unavoidable part of our existence, we are often overwhelmed by them and psychologically unequipped to deal with what life throws at us.

But, in hardship there is always an opportunity for growth and healing, which I have experienced myself.

During a difficult time in my life, in my early 20s, I was introduced to meditation practices. As a result, I developed a great passion for helping others find their way forward and now provide clients with a range of support.

The Psychosynthesis counselling I offer focuses on personal growth and involves a journey of self-discovery that can empower you to find solutions to problems and dilemmas.

Through our sessions you’re encouraged to take control of your life, making it more fulfilling, meaningful and purposeful.

Since Psychosynthesis integrates various psychological and spiritual approaches that focus on emotional, cognitive, physical and transpersonal aspects of the human experience, I can provide a service tailored to your needs.

Throughout our sessions, you’ll be guided towards finding who you truly are, developing healthy coping skills and reaching your full potential.

I have worked with individuals experiencing an array of mental health problems, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, abuse, addictions, traumas, lack of self-esteem/sense of self, poor coping skills, emotional dysregulation, loss, crime issues, cognitive impairment, stress, relationship issues, identity crisis and existential dilemmas.

There is always a light at the end of the tunnel and I will do my best to help you find it, by guiding you in a safe and confidential environment, where you can be truly listened to.

Experience and Qualifications

Throughout my professional life, I have worked within various roles in a helping field and have been influenced by integrative, person-centred, transpersonal, humanistic, CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing as well as Yoga and art therapy approaches.

I’m a qualified Psychosynthesis Counsellor with a background in psychology and Yoga philosophy and I’m currently in the process of completing my Psychosynthesis Psychology Master Degree.

I’m a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Association for Psychospiritual Practitioners (APP). I’m bound by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and I’m subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure.

How can I help you?

I describe my approach as Person-Centred and I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) where appropriate for the client.

I help those looking for ways to manage their current levels of distress or anxiety and dysfunctional behaviour. These are things that many of us experience at some stage, often affecting our physical and mental health – and ultimately the quality of our lives.

That’s where I believe counselling makes a positive difference - it can enable people to find a better quality of life for themselves.

Hi, I'm Candy, a qualified integrative counsellor based in London, but I work internationally. Some of my clients are based in Berlin, Amsterdam, Rome, Dakar, New York, etc.

Before embarking on a career in counselling, I worked in the fashion industry in Milan as both a designer and lecturer/tutor , and later ran my own retail business. I understand what it feels like to be under pressure in an intensively demanding and challenging environment and how that can affect your self-esteem and self-confidence; it can create anxiety and depression, and the feelings of isolation, loneliness, and stress.

I believe that changing your perspective often enables a passion for life to return and, with it, goals accomplished and aspirations realised.

The needs and goals of each of my clients are important to me. Therefore, I offer a unique and tailored counselling service.

I integrate diversity, equality, and inclusion in my clinical work by creating a calm and non-judgmental environment where you can freely explore. I will listen to you and help you understand your thoughts and feelings. I will support you with your needs and enable you to make positive decisions about your life.

The integrative approach (a combination of Person-Centred and Psychodynamic theories) I employ puts the client at the centre of the therapy. The client is encouraged and gently guided to express their experiences in their own time and in their way, leading to inner discovery.

Emphasis is placed on giving time to reflect upon different aspects of the issues raised and identified through exploring the past and, importantly, the connection between the past and the present.

It also gave rise to my specific interest in challenges people face with important life events, relocation and settling in different cultures.

What is Rapid Transformational Therapy / RTT?

Rapid Transformational Therapy / RTT, developed by Marisa Peer draws upon the positive impacts of Hypnotherapy & Hypnosis, to have a transformative effect on clients. RTT combines Hypnotherapy (predominantly), NLP, Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies. Designed to deliver rapid, long-lasting results to people suffering from physical or emotional pains.

It involves looking at the past, using a tool called regression, to help understand the cause of the presenting problem.

What is Thrive?
Thrive incorporates a mix of talking sessions with meditation, Hypnotherapy and the Rapid Transformational Therapy method, making it a holistic journey to your transformation.

About Me

Hi, I’m Hayley and I’m a Counsellor supporting individuals with a variety of mental health issues, including stress, anxiety, depression and low mood.

I’m based in Newbury in Berkshire and run a private counselling practice offering sessions online, as well as working as an Employment Coach within the NHS.

Counselling

I provide a safe space for you to talk about your thoughts and feelings, helping you to reflect, better understand yourself and find a way to move forward.

My approach is Integrative, which means I use a variety of counselling skills and theories to support my client, dependent on their individual needs. Our sessions will be tailored to you; whether that’s a one-off call if you’d like someone independent and impartial to listen; or longer-term work which explores past events and experiences that may be having an impact on how you’re feeling now.

We can also work on practical ways to support your mental health and well-being. Supporting you with ways of coping, alongside helping you to understand any underlying reasons why you may be feeling the way that you do. This could include some techniques commonly used in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which can help to challenge your negative thoughts so that you can change the way you feel and react.

I’m a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and I work within their ethical framework.

I also take part in regular supervision and training to further my knowledge and experience to ensure I provide the best support possible to my clients. The most recent is an online and telephone training course, which has been really helpful in enabling me to better support my clients during the pandemic with sessions online in a safe and effective way.

Hey, I'm Lucie. I’m a psychotherapist, couple’s therapist, sex coach and life coach. I’m also a mom, partner, mountain lover, dancer, singer and devotee to all things around thriving relationships.

In my practice, I combine systemic therapy to shine a light on your life wisdom and belief systems, helping you integrate it all to enhance your overall life experience and awareness.

About Me

Hey, I’m Manuel Felipe Torres, and most people call me L for short.

I’m a practicing licensed mental health counsellor and an aspiring clinical psychologist. My everyday life is mostly spent helping people overcome their greatest struggles, relationships, careers, deep emotional pain and more. Sometimes people’s struggles are invisible so I help people understand their past, how it can shape the present, and how their present causes them to see their future in a certain lens.

When I’m not sitting on a therapist chair, I like to spend my weekends going on 6-hour gaming sessions with my friends. For the fun of it, me and my friends started a podcast about helping people go through mental health issues, and slowly encourage each listener to consider going to therapy, because just about anyone can benefit from it.

How can I help you?

I have been in the mental health field for around 10 years, since graduating college. I have devoted all my energy to perfecting my therapeutic approach, and helping people as best I can. I have vast experience counseling teens and young adults. I have also supervised a team of counsellors implementing an employee mental health program. Through these experiences, I gained the courage to start my own practice and now have clients worldwide.

I believe I owe it to my clients to continually become better at helping them.

I believe that therapy is not a one-sided affair focused on removing an affliction or “sickness” from a client. Instead, I believe therapy and counselling is a conversation; a journey taken by the client and the therapist, to realise the client’s fullest and greatest potential. My methods highlight the importance of self-compassion, awareness and understanding that our struggles and our negative emotions are not the enemy, but rather a call for help from the deepest parts of ourselves that we have learned to ignore.

My methods don’t aim to overcome mental health issues, but instead, manage and understand the process that makes us feel what we feel. It is about shaping our working models, and our internalised perceptions, to manage our anxieties, our fears, and find more fulfillment in life. My program is designed to bring you emotional security and finally understand the insatiable doubts you've always had, to achieve well-deserved peace within you.

My Story

To pursue a career helping others, I graduated in psychology from University College London (UCL) and began working in the mental health sector, including the NHS. I later moved into client services within design agencies and as a result, I can relate to the challenges of changing careers and juggling a busy lifestyle in a desk-bound job. I'm a huge advocate of coaching and exercise for mental and physical wellbeing to help manage these stressors.

I finally decided to fulfill my ‘true calling’ by combining my experience and passions for movement, wellness, and creativity by becoming a Fitness & Wellbeing Coach, working as a life coach, personal trainer, and group exercise instructor. I am also a Lived Experience Practitioner, shaping NHS IAPT mental health services.

Hey, I’m Mervat.

I come from a medical background having previously worked as a doctor for 10 years.

In 2007, I began my counselling training after being interested in helping people. I trained as a Person-Centred Counsellor (PG diploma). Since 2010, my work has been with individuals from different cultures and having different issues. I’m bilingual and work with clients in English and Arabic.

In 2015, I became interested in working with children and young people. I completed the Place2be training and started volunteer work with them. I found working with children very interesting, so I decided to do a Specialist Diploma of counselling children and youth.

In 2016 I became a Registered MBACP Senior Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist and completed my training as a Supervisor in 2018.

I’m extremely passionate about working with couple’s and individual relationships. In 2013, I joined Marriage Care as a volunteer couples counsellor and started the Emotional Focused Couple Therapy Certificate (EFT). Since then I’ve worked with couples to improve their relationships. I find it very rewarding to see relationships grow and blossom as a result of our work together.

I was born in Bedford to Bengali parents. I grew up on a diet of Star Trek and punk rock in Birmingham, where I graduated with a BA in English and French. I started life in London as an environmental journalist, and when the cynicism set in, I found myself in the world of private equity. I translated my enjoyment of building trustworthy relationships into a passion for psychotherapy.

I have worked with services providing therapy through the NHS/IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) and low-cost counselling settings with individuals. Most recently, I volunteered at psychiatric supported accommodation, counselling those diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia.

As a psychologist I have over 18 years experience working in NHS England’s Child, Adolescent and Adult Services, supporting individuals from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds, working with moderate to severe mental health issues.

I have received specialist training in Stress Management and Eating Disorders. I am Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress and a Fellow of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. I have trained with Deanne Jade, one of the UK’s leading experts in eating disorders; and with Prof. Stephen Palmer, a notable psychologist for his contribution to the treatment of stress. Your mind is a beautiful place, but it can also be a chaotic one. While your mind is focused on managing day-to-day responsibilities and life’s everyday stressors, it can turn a blind eye to some of the negative thoughts and feelings that may be preventing you from achieving your true purpose. Your mind is also a master at inventing some remarkably interesting fictions about what you can and cannot achieve, thus limiting your potential.

I speak with so many people - friends, colleagues, family members - who share that they are no longer feeling fulfilled or satisfied with the current state of their life or career. Most people believe they don't know what they want to do, instead, OR they know exactly what they want to be doing, but do not know how to make it a reality. As a coach, it is my mission to support each client to uncover not only the "what's next," but exactly how to get it.

- Facilitate a deep values exploration journey to bring awareness to how values are and are not being honored in the various areas of their lives

- Exercises and brainstorming sessions to help clarify their purpose, and help them set achievable goals to fully step into that Purpose

- Deep work around emotional wellness maintenance to figure out what emotional blocks may be keeping them from living, working, and playing “full out”

- Provide tools to help navigate the emotional landscape of everyday life

- Provide tools to help traverse difficult relationships and the difficult conversations that may happen within those relationships

- Support clients in their Mindfulness practices and help them become more present and grounded in their day-to-day lives

Who am I?

Before becoming a coach, I worked in HR (recruitment and development) for 10 years. When I realised I didn't enjoy what I was doing anymore and that I needed a change, I made the decision to become a coach to help others build a fulfilling career.

Before becoming a coach, I worked in HR (recruitment and development) for 10 years. 3 years ago, after a few difficult months of feeling unhappy in my role, I realised I didn't enjoy what I was doing anymore and that I needed a change. I am an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor and a full member of the UKCP (The UK Council for Psychotherapy). I have worked in both private practice and with specialist agencies. I am fortunate to have engaged with clients from a breadth of backgrounds within the UK and US. However, I do have specific experience with the following:
