Student Counselling and Debriefing Sessions
At Sais-Abu Dhabi, we believe that students wellbeing (emotions, and thought) can impact their behaviour which in return can affect their school achievement. Students are facing challenges these days because of the coronavirus pandemic. Students might present with a variety of wellness problems such as stress, anxiety, eating disorders, and lack of motivation and hope. We also believe that teachers and school counsellor can play a role in fostering psychological resilience in students by providing debriefing sessions, setting and working on goals to instil hope as well as teaching students coping skills.

We also know that many parents, and especially new parents, are not sure about their parenting abilities, styles, and need support on how to deal with their children. The school provides focused groups to parents to attend, exchange ideas, and learn from each other.
