Dr Prashant Purohit is a highly experienced Consultant in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine based at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Kings Fertility, London. He has a medical degree and postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with distinction from Mumbai. He completed his four-year clinical research fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at King College Hospital and obtained his Membership of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2011. He has also completed his Speciality Training from Glasgow deanery in 2019.
Dr Purohit specialises in managing infertile couples, fertility preservation, fibroids, endometriosis, miscarriage, polycystic ovaries, menopause, menstrual bleeding disorders, and pelvic pain. His special interests include minimally invasive surgery like (key-hole) laparoscopic/ hysteroscopic surgery, Gynaecological and early pregnancy ultrasound, and reproductive medicine.
Dr Purohit is accredited by the British Fertility Society for the management of subfertility and assisted conception (IVF and IUI). He also holds advanced training and accreditation from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology for Laparoscopy/Hysteroscopy surgery, Menopause, and Subfertility-Assisted Conception.
Apart from his clinical work, Dr Purohit is actively involved in training and supervision of students from King's College London, speciality trainees from London/Kent deanery as well as international universities. He has published widely in the field of reproductive medicine and gynaecology.

Dr Fred Ushakov is Founder and Managing Director of London Pregnancy Clinic. He has over 30 years' experience working in fetal medicine and has vast expertise in ultrasound techniques. He also works part-time at the UCLH Fetal Medicine Unit, having gained recognition as the most skilled ultrasound operator.
Dr Ushakov is also founder of the London School of Ultrasound, where he has lectured doctors and sonographers from more than 100 countries. He founded the Early Fetal Scan Conference, a scientific event that seeks to raise awareness among professionals to recognise and manage different fetal abnormalities. Furthermore, Dr Ushakov has been appointed as an Ambassador of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
He has a particular interest in the training and support of doctors in other countries to help them to protect and preserve the health of mothers and unborn babies. Dr Giovanni Granozio
Dr Giovanni Granozio is a clinical fellow in fetal medicine at the Royal London Hospital, where he is an ultrasound specialist. He also consults privately at London Pregnancy Clinic.
He performs pregnancy screening scans, as well as scans for pregnancies with fetal anomaly complications, growth-restricted babies, and twin pregnancies.
Dr Granozio graduated from the University of Salerno in 2013, and in 2019 he finished his specialisation in Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the University of Turin, one of Europe's largest centres. During his training, he focused on fetal medicine and obstetric ultrasound, particularly foetal evaluation during the first, second, and third trimesters of pregnancy.
He relocated to London in 2020 to serve as a Clinical Fellow at the Fellowship in Fetal Medicine at UCLH, where he was able to hone his skills in Fetal Medicine and Obstetric Ultrasound. He has also been a clinical fellow at the Royal Free Hospital.
Dr Granozio has numerous research publications in obstetric and gynaecology journals. He has also been a member of the scientific secretariat for a number of SIEOG (Italian Society of Obstetric Gynaecological Ultrasound) courses and a speaker at various journal clubs (educational meetings).

Ms Quynh Tran is an experienced Specialist Sonographer at the London Pregnancy Clinic with over 8 years of experience. She has specialist expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, abdominal, and small parts. She utilises advanced techniques to perform detailed scans and deliver exceptional patient care.
Quynh began her career in the field of medical imaging in Australia, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging at Queensland University of Technology in 2010. She completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound at the same university in 2015.

Dr. Diane Nzelu is a Consultant in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, holding the role of Obstetric Lead for the North Central London Maternal Medicine network at UCLH (University College London Hospitals). Her professional expertise lies in managing complex pregnancies while focusing on delivering individualised and client-centred care. She is an expert in pre-natal care and is an asset to the team at London Pregnancy Clinic for this reason.
With specialised training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Dr. Nzelu completed her advanced training module in labour ward management at UCLH. She pursued her undergraduate degree in Medical Microbiology at Edinburgh University, and completed her MBChB at Warwick University.
Dr. Nzelu underwent training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology within the South London Deanery. During this period, she also successfully completed her MD thesis at King's College Hospital.
Dr. Nzelu continues to be actively involved in research; her primary research interests revolve around hypertensive conditions (high blood pressure) during pregnancy. She has authored over 15 publications and two book chapters in this area. Additionally, she holds an honorary senior lecturer position at KCL (King's College London).

Miss Shahrzad Khojasteh is a highly skilled Specialist Sonographer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She specialises in performing detailed and high-quality ultrasound scans in all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, including fertility scans. Miss Khojasteh is very passionate about her work and completed her Master's degree in Prenatal Genetics and Foetal Medicine at UCL in 2016.
She has pursued her interest in ultrasound and clinical practice and has completed two years of training in Foetal Medicine Ultrasound at Kings College Hospital, which was closely supervised by Professor Kypros Nicolaides in 2017. During her fellowship at Kings College Hospital, she worked closely with Foetal Medicine Consultants to gain experience. Miss Khojasteh has also obtained special training in Foetal Echocardiography by Foetal Cardiologists from Evelina Children’s Hospital.
In addition, she has gained extensive experience in Early Pregnancy and Gynaecological ultrasound scanning under the Early Pregnancy Unit (EPU) and Gynaecology Department at King's College Hospital, supervised by lead Consultants in the field.

UNITY Carrier Screen is perfect for pregnant mothers who missed the chance for pre-pregnancy carrier screening and need quick results. Unlike other NIPTs, UNITY can perform maternal carrier screening during pregnancy.
The UNITY Carrier Screen doesn’t need a paternal DNA sample. It directly checks the baby’s genetic makeup. If the mother is a carrier, the test can then check fetal cfDNA to determine if the baby is at high risk of inheriting the disease.
The UNITY Carrier Screen tests for a few common severe genetic disorders, including cystic fibrosis (CF), spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), sickle cell disease, and other fetal red cell genetic disorders. It is not compatible with BEACON 787, which tests for over 700 genetic diseases.
You can also add UNITY Aneuploidy Screen to the Carrier Screen (combined price of £790). This provides secure screening for Down’s syndrome and other common chromosomal abnormalities.
