Collin Ethridge
Collin is a current University of Texas at Dallas baseball player in his final year. Growing up in a baseball family, he has been involved in the game his entire life. He has been involved in Dallas Hardball since the very beginning, first as an umpire, and as a team and individual private coach.
Weekend Lessons will be at The Village multisport field next door to the baseball complex.
Weekday lessons may be at the follow indoor facility until the sun is up later:

Evan Sack
As a 3rd baseman for Emery in high school, Evan won the 2017 TAPPS State Championship, Texas Prep Baseball All-Houston Hitter of the Year, as well as 6A and 5A All-Houston Hitter of the Year awards. Originally committed to Florida International University as a sophomore, Evan was later recruited by and signed with baseball powerhouse McClennan Community College his senior year. Evan played 3rd base for McClennan CC before transferring to the University of Texas at Austin where he received his bachelor's degree in Organizational Management and minor in Business. In his free time, Evan enjoys spending time with his friends and family, and cheering on the Longhorns at UT sporting events.

Tanner McElroy
Tanner McElroy was raised in Dallas, Texas in Lake Highlands. He attended Texas Tech University and was the only freshman pitcher to start for the Red Raiders’ baseball team in 2001. He went on to become the team’s closer and the #1 starting pitcher by his junior year and senior year. He was named captain of the Red Raider’s baseball team in 2005 and received “Male Student-Athlete of the Year” by Texas Tech University. He also received Big 12 honors the same year. Tanner was 4th all-time in ERA (2.28) for the Red Raiders when he finished his career.
After college baseball Tanner McElroy signed with the Texas Rangers Organization to play professionally where he was the starting pitcher for the Rangers’ High A baseball club and in 2006, he pitched the championship game to win the Northwest League World Series (minor leagues) and receive a ring from the Texas Rangers Organization. Tanner tore his ulnar collateral ligament in the 5th inning of that championship game and had Tommy John surgery during Spring Training the following season. He was later released and finished his career with an ERA of 2.53 including 55 strikeouts and 15 walks in 42.2 innings pitched. Now Tanner is the father of a wonderful 6th grade daughter at McCullough Intermediate School and spends his time doing bonds and commercial lines as Vice President of Construction for The Miller Group. In his off time, he teaches pitching and catching lessons, writes, and plays guitar for Encounter Church in Fate, TX.

Each individual 90-minute lesson will identify and diagnose fundamental flaws in pitching mechanics, and physical limitations such as flexibility and strength. The lessons will include customized training to be completed within the 90 minutes lesson.

Each individual 90-minute lesson will identify and diagnose fundamental flaws in pitching mechanics, and physical limitations such as flexibility and strength. The lessons will include customized training to be completed within the 90 minutes lesson. Lessons are cumulative and will build on Tanner's overall pitching philosophy that led to a successful college career and being drafted by the Texas Rangers MLB organization.
For lesson packages, the initial lessons will focus on proper conditioning and flexibility, as well as season appropriate strength training programs custom made for each player. Lessons will progress through learning proper and age-appropriate pitching mechanics, to situational pitching, and learning/gaining confidence in 2nd and 3rd pitches. Your player will not just learn to pitch, he will become a pitcher.
Open to all ages 8-15. Please bring glove, hat, cleats, sneakers, and a water bottle to each lesson. Please be 10-15 minutes early and be prepared to work.
