Behavioural Issue 121 is the ideal solution if your dog is exhibiting behavioural problems, beyond those related to general obedience. The sessions, which take place at Red Hall Farm (CW3 9BA), aim to address a range of issues, including nervousness, resource guarding and dog-dog reactivity. We practise both on and off lead with a variety of real world distractions so that our puppies are prepared for the real world.

This course is suitable for dogs over 8 months that need help taking their training to the next level. This course covers fundamental obedience and is suitable for you if your dog cannot sit-stay more than 30s at 3m distance, cannot recall when there are dog distractions, pulls on the lead, lacks engagement. This course helps you take the first step towards a dog you can have off lead.

This course is suitable for dogs over 8 months and is the follow on course to the Level 1 dog training. This course is for dogs that are beginning to work off lead around other dogs and now need to train around other dogs and distractions to ensure off lead reliability. Exercises will be completed on and off lead both inside and outside (weather dependent), to ensure behaviours are practised in a variety of real life scenarios 

This course covers

- intermediate loose lead walking - walking with distractions such as bags, buggies and trays

- sit-stays  - building up to 3 minutes off lead sit-stays 

- settle work - settling while distractions are happening

The Kennel Club Good Citizens scheme enables you to work through the levels from Bronze to Gold, This also allows you to enter additional classes at dog shows, if you show you dogs.

Get ready for CRUFTS 2024. Choose from the 2nd, 9th or 16th Feb, with either an am or pm workshop. Lynn has extensive experience showing, is a fully qualified dog trainer and is a B level judge. Hoopers is a fun sport that keeps your dog healthy and fit. It improves fitness, strengthens joints; tones muscles. Mentally it reduces anxiety, builds confidence, teaches dogs to focus and ignore distractions and gives them the opportunity to learn and problem solve.  

These sociable classes are great fun and help you strengthen your bond with your dog. The side effects of these classes are: improved relationship, stronger recall, more focus and engagement with you.

Join us for a chance to run your dog on a hoopers course in our grass field. 

An  opportunity to choose from one of three courses, easy, medium or hard, with a variety of different handling techniques needed. 

You can run the same course 4 times, or change route up and down the difficulties. 

Laura will be there from Laura K Turner Photography and will be taking action shots of your dogs that will be available from an online gallery, and you will be able to download the social media resolution images of your dog, with the option to purchase high resolution prints and images if you would like.

At the end of your turns you will be able to choose a rosette for you and your dog.

This exciting 2 hour afternoon workshop will teach you how to get so much out of a ball than just playing fetch!

Use a tennis ball to supercharge your relationship, build engagement, mentally simulate your dog and so much more!

Capped at six dogs, the workshop will teach you a host of ball games that you can play out on walks, on the beach and teach your children so they can play with their pups.

In this workshop we will cover whistle recalls, whistle stops, whistle leave its, whistle turns and whistle heels. Your dog will learn to discriminate their whistle from the other whistles in the group 

This course is suitable for all dog friendly dogs, dogs without a good recall must be on a long line and harness. 

This 2h30 workshop is held at Red Hall Farm and capped at 6 dogs per workshop. 14:15-16:45 12/5/2024

You will need to bring an ACME 211.5 ; 210.5 or 212 whistle with you. 

In this workshop we will cover whistle recalls, whistle stops, whistle leave its, whistle turns and whistle heels. Your dog will learn to discriminate their whistle from the other whistles in the group

5 week beginners hoopers course. 11-12pm Tuesdays. Dates for the course are: 23/4; 30/4; 7/5; 14/5 & 28/5. Please note there is no class on 21/5/24.

This class is perfect for dogs that have a recall and can work around other dogs. Suitable for breeds of all sizes and ages.

45 min session held at Red Hall Farm (ST7 8AX) - follow Red Hall Lane until you see the poly tunnels, then it is the next left. Max 6 dogs, Dogs must be friendly, have good recall and be able to work off lead around each other.

In this taster session we will introduce dogs to hoops, barrels and tunnels. Suitable for dogs over 16 weeks and of all ages and sizes. 

ONLY FOR MEMBERS!  Depending on your membership you will be able to book 4 or 8 of these sessions monthly. 

Please remember: 

1) This is a training field, not a secure field you must have your dog/s under control at all times, dogs can potentially jump the fences, duck under the gateway. All dogs on the field must have third party public liability

2) Equipment breaks, any broken equipment needs to be placed down the side of the container (between container and fence) and must not be removed from that area except by staff. 

3) Hoop pegs are grouped into sets of 10, please ensure you count the pegs you use in and out.
