For those who need a bit more than a massage or who feel like they’ve exhausted all other options, aka the kitchen sink approach. I’ll use a combination of your preferred techniques to help reduce pain, improve movement and optimise recovery. Kinetic therapy is a treatment technique that uses specialized tools to assist in the mobilization and manipulation of soft tissues. This approach is designed to break down scar tissue, improve tissue mobility, and promote healing by stimulating the body’s natural repair processes. Benefits of Kinetic Therapy: Enhances Mobility: Restores range of motion and reduces restrictions in soft tissues. Aids Recovery: Speeds up healing by increasing blood flow to the treated area. Reduces Pain: Alleviates chronic or acute pain associated with tightness or scar tissue. Breaks Down Scar Tissue: Effectively targets adhesions and fibrosis in muscles and fascia. Boosts Performance: Prepares tissues for movement, enhancing flexibility and function.Prevents Injuries: Helps maintain healthy soft tissue dynamics, reducing the risk of injury. Kinetic therapy is often used in conjunction with other rehabilitation methods and is beneficial for both athletes and individuals recovering from injury or surgery, as well as those suffering with chronic pain. Dry needling ;is a therapeutic technique that involves inserting thin, sterile needles into trigger points or tight bands of muscle tissue. The aim is to alleviate pain, release muscle tension, and improve mobility by stimulating the body’s natural healing processes. Benefits of Dry Needling: Relieves Muscle Tension: Targets tight or knotted muscles, promoting relaxation and reducing stiffness. Reduces Pain: Alleviates acute and chronic pain by interrupting pain signals and enhancing blood flow.Improves Range of Motion: Restores flexibility and function in affected areas. Accelerates Recovery: Stimulates tissue repair and decreases inflammation to support healing. Addresses Trigger Points: Releases myofascial trigger points that can cause referred pain or discomfort. Supports Overall Performance: Enhances muscle function and reduces risk of future injuries. Dry needling is often used in combination with other physical therapy techniques and is beneficial for treating conditions like muscle strains, joint dysfunction, and chronic pain syndromes.
