    Bike Sizing

    I have been to Iain many times with new bikes and it has always been spot on with the settings. Now I was thinking about a more aggressive gravel bike and needed Iain's expert advice and as usual he finds the right settings with the handlebar/stem so that we can get the new bike to fit perfectly. Always feels safe to get good advice so I know the bike can suit me and my needs.

    I recently had a follow-up appointment at Pain Free Power with Iain, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service.     Bike fit - much more than fitting a bike

    Booked the full bike fitting option. It was a fantastic experience ranging from discussions, sharing of knowledge, anecdotes and experiences. It turned out that bike fitting is much more than fitting a bike - it is a holistic perspective of the individual's body characteristics and fitness, technique as well as the bike itself. Iain who masterfully orchestrated the session, started by offering coffee and a short tour. He then went on to integrate a get-to-know each other with a questionnaire about our current status and goals, all professionally documented as we spoke. The session went on to include several video recordings, various physical tests and measurements resulting in small tweaks or larger changes to either the bike or the persons position, technique or manoeuvring. During the entire time Iain was very kind and understanding piloting the session towards a very good result. We worked together according to a logical progression, which was manifested with video recordings and a mutual understanding about the current result and the next iteration. I also learned a lot about the industry, the bike itself and clothing etc. I left Pain Free Power with an adjusted bike, physical training exercises and improved technique - all with a smile on my face. One last thing before leaving was to book a new session for my wife the day after.
