Study appointment (1 hour)
On the day of the appointment, you will be asked to sign a copy of the consent form prior to participation. First, you will complete a 10-15 min computer-based choice task. While you are completing this task, a small device underneath the computer screen will record how your eyes are moving across the screen. This task will be followed by an interview (~45 min), during which the researcher will ask you a series of questions about your thoughts on and experiences with food labelling information on meat products. The interview will be audio-recorded to make sure that we don’t miss any of your comments. While we will be on a first-name basis during the interview, there will not be any names attached to comments in later reports.
You will receive an $80 gift card at the end of the appointment as a token of thanks for your participation. There will be no follow-up contact with the researchers after the appointment.
