Chris Loring
Chris studied viola performance at the University of Northern Colorado under the guidance of Dr. Juliet White-Smith. In the interest of continuing education and musicianship, she is currently studying with Basil Vendrys (Principal Violist of the Colorado Symphony, Professor of Viola at Denver Univerity's Lamont School of Music, and world-renowned soloist).
Chris is the Principal Violist of the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra (https://www.jeffsymphony.org/) and is also seen often in both the Arapahoe Philharmonic and Lakewood Symphony.
In addition to being a private violin and viola instructor, she is the viola sectional coach for Bear Creek High School and offers coaching, mentorship, and education to all young string musicians!
Chris is available for professional gigs, subbing, chamber music, and coaching.
