About the company
Welcome to RootED Learning & Development Center,
Summer is now upon us. While schools may be out, learning is still IN!!! Take this extra time to focus in on giving your child, teen or young adult the gift of empowering them to establish & build their love of learning, by signing them up for our hands-on Educational Therapeutic Intervention Skills Training Program or Targeted Academic Coaching accelerating them into independent, autonomous, and confident life-long learners.
Replace their fear or anxiety of school with confidence and a love of learning.
Our sessions are designed for every type of learning profile. It is our goal to help them build their toolbox of strategies and strengthen their skills so that it will set them up for success in their coming 2020-2021 school year.
We are Now Booking Summer and Fall sessions.
**Please note: ** If you have summer sessions booked, you will receive VIP booking for Fall Sessions. (This is particularly helpful for those of you who juggle sports, extracurricular after school activities, or have multiple children.)
Our Summer 1:1 Virtual Sessions Begin: June 1st
Our Summer 1:1 In-Person Sessions are set to Tentatively Begin: starting June 22nd.
**Please Note** - Though our permanent location is still TBD, we will be setting up a few temporary locations as needed.
Our Supercharged Summer Small Group Opportunities will be announced and open for registering soon!
Here you will find the quickest way to book, confirm, and reschedule your child's recurring weekly or bi-weekly sessions. Obviously, our goal is to try to keep your child's sessions as routine as possible (same day/same time). However, I do understand that summer comes with vacations, family gatherings, and sometimes unexpected changes that occur with life. Keep in mind that I do offer online sessions via Zoom if something comes up, making coming into the office difficult.
Please note there is the option to schedule for an additional Individual Single Session, for those times when an extra session added in the week, would be beneficial or if you need to schedule a make-up session.

Good afternoon,
Here you will find a smoother way to book your weekly or bi-weekly online sessions. Obviously, our goal is to try to keep your child's sessions as routine as possible (same day/same time), but I do understand the busy and sometimes unexpected changes that occur with life)
All sessions are currently provided via ZOOM! or Google Hangouts (Online).
Expectations During Sessions:
It is expected that your child will have access to the necessary technology (computer/ipad/tablet. microphone, internet camera, and access to the internet) in order to fully utilize our time during each session. For the session, the student will be able to access a quiet room, without the distraction of others in the household.

Small Group: Academic Coaching
These small groups are created to specifically allow for students to receive academic coaching as needed during the session. This provides a space for them to just, work on their assigned work and be able to ask questions as they go - if needed.This is support service provided to your student which allows them direct assistance as needed from a licensed teacher, instead of having to e-mail or message their teacher...who may only be available or working only 1 hour a day. Allows for screen sharing and instant assistance or additional strategies and re-teaching in all subject areas grades 3-12 (ELA, Science, Social Studies, Health, and grades 3-10 Math) Here they can receive tech assistance if needed.

Sessions are provided via ZOOM platform Sessions run 50 minutes from start to finish. These sessions are good to add when unexpected projects or assignments are giving your student added difficulty in planning, organizing, initiating the task or with task completion.These sessions are also great to boost Executive Function Skills and allow the clinician to provide strategies and instruction in an individualized curriculum designed specifically for your child or teen. Also, those who would like to boost their child's skills through the various stages of our program, utilize additional sessions in the week to provide a more "intense" therapeutic plan to help close the gaps of learning and rewire the brain using the child's strengths to help them find greater success in areas that they usually struggle.

These appointments will be provided through the ZOOM platform online. These appointments are 50 min. sessions. These appointments are designed to be scheduled as recurring appointments, every 2 weeks.Please Note: These appointments are reserved for returning clients who have had a parent meeting with their clinician and have determined that they are ready to move to Bi-weekly sessions. Please understand that if you select this option, you will be automatically signed up for appointments on the same day/time, every other week from the week of your first selected date through to Dec. 20th, 2019. If you for any reason need to change or cancel an appointment, you will be expected to do so within a 24hr ahead notice of each scheduled session or you will be responsible for the fee for that individual session in full.

Small-Group Leader: Christa Green - a current clinician in Educational Therapy and Ohio Licensed Intervention Specialist K-12; Mild-Moderate
This group is designed for ANY and all 3-12th grade students who have schooling at home via online schoolwork or packet work to complete, through their district. Here you will be provided with a licensed K-12 Intervention Specialist, who not only works currently in Educational Therapy, but also is highly qualified in Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. All groups will be for 50 min time slots.All groups will only contain a maximum of 10 students at a time or less, to keep the small group format. Groups will be held on the ZOOM! Platform.
