Gareth

Gareth is a UK and International Examiner. He provides our Singing/Piano/Performance and Theory lessons. He has a wealth of experience and provides tuition up to Diploma standards in both Rockschool and ABRSM examinations. Gareth has also worked with the BBC as well as Bauer media.
His piano style is modern whilst he teaches from the RockSchool and ABRSM syllabus. He is equally at home taking improvisation and composition lessons. Gareth is also a Vocal coach. Having originally trained in musical theatre he now has an eclectic taste and his singing lessons range from Classical/Musical/Pop and Rock.
Gareth loves going to the theatre to watch the latest musicals. His last trip was "Dear Evan Hansen" in the West End.

“Mike is a very experienced teacher of all ages and live performer who has played in bands at functions and weddings for over 15 years all over the country and Europe including France, Portugal and Spain. He received his degree in Music Performance from the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Surrey and is passionate about helping people of all skill levels achieve their goals on the guitar; whether it’s wanting to strum through their favourite song, learn music theory, or go through their graded exams”.

Matt is a multi instrumentalist who is a prominent fixture of the local live music scene, as well having toured and played in many of the country’s most prestigious theatres and music halls.
Equally at home teaching guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass or uke and happy to focus on pretty much any style or genre.
Matt is our Improvisation specialist, so if you are looking to extend your understanding of jazz chord voicing and scale/chord relationships, find your way around some of the complex modal demands of the higher grade rock school improvisations, or expand your performance abilities in folk or blues, he is the guy to be considering.

Graduating from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in 2019, George has experience in many aspects of playing drums in the music business, from showcasing artists for record companies, playing for signed artists, corporate gigs, playing abroad, theatre shows, studio work and of course; teaching. After moving back to the north west, George is now teaching the Rockschool syllabus at BMA to all skill levels.
When George is not teaching, he does remote recording sessions from home, recording for artists and bands throughout the UK.
