Callum Stevenson
Callum is a musician and multi-instrumentalist based in Edinburgh, Scotland. His primary instrument is electric guitar but is also qualified to teach bass guitar and keyboard/piano.
Callum is better known for his keyboard work in kings of Skindie band, The Begbies, having played festivals, venues such as The Isle of Bute, Party At The Palace, Gig In The Goil, Xponorth,
Belladrum, including sold out shows at king Tuts. He has also supported artists such as Milburn and The Ordinary Boys.
Having studied at Edinburgh college, previously known as Stevenson College, Callum has a degree in Popular music with Grade 8 music theory and Grade 8 rock and pop guitar. With over 10 years of teaching experience in a variety of different settings from leading creative songwriting sessions for Individuals with mental health issues, to group work with young people and adults through charitable organisations such as Dads Rock Academy and
a vast amount of one to one tuition.
Callum’s teaching method is all about creating a safe and positive environment for the student. He will be catering for your needs and goals using tailor made plans to help you get from A to B as efficiently as possible whilst maintaining a relaxed and fun approach to learning. Lesson material can consist of learning you’re favourite songs, taking on the grades, improvisation or diving deep into applied music theory on your instrument.

Peter Bunting
With over 20 years of drumming experience, Peter has worked his way from a young age to a professional level of drumming. Pete plays drums for hotly tipped Pop Punk band happydaze who recently signed to Thriller Records and followed this with a massive U.K. and European tour supporting Pop Punk legends Neck Deep.
Prior to taking up the throne with happydaze, Pete had spent the last few years gaining a name for himself as the drummer of Edinburgh bands Donnie Willow and Mt. Doubt, as well as a professional session drummer, touring with a variety of artists including Palm Reader, Toy Mountains, Woes and E M I L I E, supporting the likes of Don Broco, Rolo Tomassi, Mabel and White Lies.
Peter’s live drumming experience ranges from small clubs in Glasgow to the big stage at festivals such as T in the Park and 2000 Trees, and has recorded drums in studios with a number of prolific producers across the country, with 100+ recorded songs under his belt. Peter specialises in punk, rock and metal drumming, but also is very experienced in modern pop and indie playing, and has been trained in more classical styles such as jazz and funk.

Mari is a professional singer-songwriter and recording electro pop solo artist performing under the stage name Aino Elina. She is signed to Masi Music, and is currently working on her second album.
Mari is a private contemporary, commercial music vocal coach with over 5 years of experience teaching singers of all abilities. She has been coached by some of the UK Music Industry’s leading coaches, including Dane Chalfin (Primal Voice) and Kim Chandler. She is also familiar with CVT (complete vocal technique).
As well as extensive solo experience Mari has 19 years of performance experience from all over the world with choirs, ensembles and professional musical theatre.

Scott Cowie
Scott is a professional guitarist with more than 8 years experience working within the music industry in various capacities. As lead guitarist for hotly tipped "WUKASA" Scott has played to sell out crowds in venues across the UK and Major UK festivals including TRNSMT and Belladrum. Alongside his work with WUKASA Scott appears for a number of other acts including as first Guitarist in an Edinburgh based Big Band.
Scott gained his Music Performance Degree from Abertay University in Scotland, UK; and holds Grade 7 Music Theory from Trinity College, London and uses this wide base of knowledge to inform his fun and practical lessons on guitar and Ukulele.

The youngest member of the DC Music Lessons team, Nemo Ganguli is a prodigious talent on drums. As a U.K Young Drummer of the Year top 10 Finalist in 2022 Nemo has been recognised as one of the most exciting young drummers in the U.K. His enthusiasm for all things drums is infectious and makes his teaching fun and engaging. Nemo's love for Jazz and Latin percussion means his style is perfect for anyone who wants to take their drumming up a level.

Ben Watt
Ben has been playing professionally for around 10 years on a wide range of instruments, including bass and mandolin. His professional career has seen him play at many of the U.K's top music festivals including Belladrum, Eden Festival, Kelburn and T In The Park. Other highlights in Ben's career have included support slots with Scouting For Girls as well as Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbot.
Ben's approach to music lessons is highly practical and focusses more on training the ear and how to play with other musicians rather than working from sheet music. A man of many talents, Ben is currently offering lessons on Bass (including double bass), Keyboard and Piano, Mandolin, Ukelele and Music Theory.

David Burns
David Burns is a freelance musician based in Edinburgh. Throughout his career he has developed a thorough understanding of the nuances of style and feel and is experienced in a range of genres such as Funk, Pop, Jazz and Rock. An interest in composition permeates his musicianship and contributes to his capacity to complement the styles of those he plays with.
Currently an active Musician in the live music scene throughout Edinburgh and Glasgow, David is a member of multiple band outfits.These include: The Amber Lights function band, performing at venues across the country and on a bi-weekly residency at Stramash in Edinburgh. Terrace court, an R&B/ Pop outfit who have supported Joseph in the Revolver Hotel in Glasgow and played venues such as G2 and King Tuts. Jimi, a 7 piece funk band who recently played at an international Jazz festival in Prague. David is also continuing to work with his collaborator Pete Wall in both Pete’s solo artist career and their Hydroponics acoustic Folk project. Additionally David has played percussion in a variety of concert bands which have Performed at the royal concert hall in Glasgow and Perth. In the studio David can be heard on recent music releases by Barbe Rousse, Pete Wall and OceanCode.
Academically David has achieved a BA Hons degree in popular music at Edinburgh Napier University.Having studied instrumental teaching as part of his degree, David is able to cater to the learning styles of each individual. With a friendly and supportive approach, David aims to create a comfortable and engaging learning environment.

Anna Vanosi
Anna Vanosi, originally from Milan, Italy, is a versatile singer and actor with a diverse musical background. Graduating from Edinburgh Napier University in 2017, Anna's musical journey began at the age of 6 when she started playing the piano and singing in her church choir. Although classically trained in piano, Anna found her true passion in singing, becoming a soloist soprano at the age of 11 in the renowned Duomo (Cathedral) of Milan.
Expanding her musical horizons, Anna ventured into gospel singing before relocating to Scotland. There, she embarked on a journey to learn jazz, immersing herself in the art of improvisation through attending numerous jam sessions. Today, Anna hosts regular jazz nights at local venues with her jazz band and explores the realms of neo-soul with a newly formed ensemble.
Anna lends her vocal talents to function gigs with various bands, including Woohoo band. Passionate about sharing her love for music and conveying a message though lyrics, Anna is enthusiastic about teaching singing to new students and aims to inspire others with her passion and talent.
