Good day, everyone. My name is Darien Tran, currently a P3 of the Pharmacy program-new curriculum. Before Pharmacy school, I attended Georgia Gwinnett College as a Biochem major. Prior to PCOM, I volunteered at Gwinnett Medical Center for a year and gained some experience tutoring both Organic Chem I and II for two years. As of now besides school, I'm working at an independent Compounding Pharmacy and a manager of a shipping company. My experience includes being a TA for the PCOM PA summer course and the Widener PT/OT summer course where we went over lecture and gross lab material as well as creating detailed study guides and practice lab image powerpoints. I also was an anatomy TA for the PCOM Biomed graduate students where I assisted mostly in cadaver lab. As an M4, I have taken the PCOM SPOM class. I have also taken anatomy in my undergraduate and graduate education as well as worked in Orthopedic Trauma for 2 years giving me more clinical experience with the material.My strengths for tutoring include being able to accommodate different types of learning, building strong basics to make the detailed learning easier, and trying to make the material as interactive as possible.
