Jolie Anastasia has been dominating the dance floor at music festivals and night clubs all around the world. Immediately captivated from the moment she saw shuffling, she has been honing her craft ever since. She has embraced the two main styles of shuffle dance, The Melbourne Shuffle and Cutting Shapes, combining them together to create her own unique style. 

Shuffling comes with many health benefits, physically & mentally.  Jolie’s testimony can serve as an example as she has personally lost 60 pounds on her shuffle journey. This dance has also brought her loads of focus, mental clarity, and confidence. It has truly changed her life for the better and can’t wait to share her story & craft with you.

Jolie’s passion for shuffling has led her to create Shuffle Wisdom to bring shuffle dance instruction to the next level! Her philosophy is to empower people to express themselves freely through movement, spread positivity and encouragement throughout the shuffling community, and help people trigger a higher conscious “flow state” and fully step into their own style.

David Rubenstein has made it his mission to spread his love and knowledge that he's acquired in the past 7 years to everyone across the world. From the dark techno clubs of Berlin, all the way to the beaches of Playa del Carmen, Dave has picked up various dance styles and philosophies throughout his travels. He has learned his craft from some of the greatest teachers in the shuffle world.

David is a shuffle enthusiast and part-time historian of the dance. He has mastered moves from various shuffle styles like UK-style shapes, Malaysian, Russian, Cali and Melbourne shuffling. His philosophy is that dancing is a language. A physical vocabulary to express one's own life story through movement. His goal is for each of his students to develop their own unique vocabulary for their dance language.

Lena has been training various styles of dance since she was a 3 years old, including Tap, Jazz, and Hip Hop. She has been an avid raver ever since she attended her first Avicii show in 2012. Despite actively training dance for most of her life, she never fell in love with a style until she discovered Shuffling and Cutting Shapes in 2016.

Lena has been actively Shuffling and Shaping since August 2018. She began her journey with Cutting Shapes, but after attending Ultra Music Festival, she fell in love with the Melbourne Shuffle, and began dedicating most of her time to learn this style.

She feels her highest expression through Trance and Progressive House music but also loves Future House and Techno. Through collaborations, one on one lessons, choreography classes, and workshops Lena has a vast amount of wisdom to share with others who are willing to learn.

Teaching herself how to Shuffle has given her a unique creative outlet, confidence, amazing cardio endurance, and so many new and life-long friendships. She could not be more grateful to have found such an amazing community and hopes to help you find the same as you grow through your own shuffle journey!

Lena hopes to help you find your flow and teach the styles that influenced her most throughout her shuffle journey. Some of her specialties include:

- Gliding

- Creating a smooth and effortless rock

- Developing a strong running man

- Creating choreography

Lena can offer multiple ways to drill and practice to ensure growth and success with shuffling. In addition to footwork, Lena has been dedicating herself to learn more about upper body control. She is also open to creating small choreographies for clients to practice and learn different combinations of moves.

Miguel Reyes also known as Migz is one of the most well known and respected OG shufflers in the SoCal underground shuffle scene, having 12+ years experience in both the Melbourne Shuffle and Malaysian (MAS) style. Born and raised in the tough streets of Compton, CA Migz found shuffling as a means to escape the tough street lifestyle of his peers. Migz has built a strong reputation in the community by constantly being active in the rave scene for over a decade and building and uniting the emerging SoCal shuffle scene.

Outside of his skills on the dancefloor, Migz is known for his infectious smile, positive attitude, and confidence. Migz was one of the main heads of one the most well known shuffle crews in the US, GasMaskHardstyle or better known as GODSMIGHTYHEROES, which was founded in 2009 and started up again in early 2016. 

Migz has gained notoriety in the shuffle community for the strength of his foundational core for both Melbourne Shuffling and Malaysian (MAS) style. Specializing in keeping the style simple with precision, control, and powerful T-Steps, kicks, spins, glides, and Running Man. Migz loves meeting new people in the shuffle community who are just as passionate about the dance as he was when he first started shuffling.
