Joanne is a ACE-certified personal trainer, certified Exercise Therapist, Level 1 Kettlebell Instructor, DTS Striking Instructor and an aspiring Muay Thai Fighter based in Toronto, Canada. With a diverse athletic background, she utilizes bodyweight movements, kettlebells, and unconventional equipments (steel clubs, steel maces, etc) to provide a results based training program focused on 3 values: Consistency, Commitment, Confidence.

    两年前很幸运的认识了Joanne. 从此带我走上了健康的减肥增肌之路!以前的我对运动很抵触, 甚至总是靠节食减肥, 瘦下来之后反弹的很快,甚至比原来还胖!自从认识joanne 之后, 慢慢我发觉运动不光是跑步机,椭圆机. 还有很多有意思的项目. 在减肥的过程中,Joanne一直鼓励我 并且跟我用apple watch 去做competition, 而且我还会分享我每天的健康餐给教练!非常幸运的是在四个月的时间里,我减掉了将近40斤的体重 还有增加了很多肌肉.整个人的体脂率都下来了!我非常非常感谢我的教练 Joanne!也非常非常幸运能遇到她!

    First But Not My Last Session

    I was very impressed with Joannes lunch time workout. It was quick and effective for beating that afternoon drag we feel when working at a desk. The exercises were mobility and strength based and came with excellent tips on how to ease into the movement or enhance it. Right from logging in you will feel welcomed as Joanne is just a breath of fresh air. By the end of the session I was heated, more flexible, and energized for the rest of the day. I highly recommend trying a class, it won’t be your last!

    A fun yet challenging time!

    Joanne is great at developing workouts that give you a bit of everything. From the initial stretching and yoga parts, to the core strength and balance work, I felt engaged the entire time. A great way to get a good work out in while having fun!

    Driving connection & results!

    With the winter blues and the COVID lockdowns, finding the motivation to workout does not easily come these days. I just did my first session with Joanne recently and she is both warm and welcoming; whether you are new to fitness or experienced, Joanne explains the movements well and has a wealth of knowledge behind her to keep the workouts fresh and fun! The idea of working out virtually from my home was such a foreign concept to me, but Joanne made me feel comfortable and it was motivating to join her virtual community. Joanne isn’t

    I'm seeing and feeling the results!

    I've been working with Joanne privately now for eight months - I loathe routine and the fact that she manages to engage me session after unpredictable session and hold my interest is rather shocking. This has allowed for consistency which is bringing the results that I could only hope for--not to mention the cross-over to other areas of my life is everything to me (and others are taking notice!). Most important to me in any athletic partnership, however, is an advanced knowledge of exercise mechanics. Joanne's skill level stimulates my "body brain" which makes the hard work more interesting--which in turn makes the hard work more mentally fun! In every session, I feel like I'm reaping the benefits of the enthusiasm she has for her own constant learning.

    I can't feel my legs...in a good way!

    Joanne is an incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and focused fitness instructor. Even through online classes, she consistently gives feedback on form and provides alternatives based on needed accommodations within the group. She exudes passion for fitness and will take the time to get to know you as a person, not just her client, which makes working out with her much more effective and enjoyable! I consider myself to be a generally fit and athletic person, but she always finds a way to push my body even further - and with a big smile! I highly recommend checking out Joanne's classes if you are in need of some extra motivation, individualized workouts, and a great time!

    Awesome workout!!

    Joanne is an amazing Coach. She really focuses on making you improve, you will definitely see results if you stick to her classes. She is very conscious to any injuries or limitations you may have, she will offer substituted workout and stretches to cater to those areas. When I just got back into working out Joanne made me feel comfortable and helped me through mouvements I never thought my body could achieve. I highly suggest anyone looking for a burn or an effective training class to join

    Working with Joanne

    Lucky for me, I got introduced to Joanne early on in my fitness career and have had her as an inspiration and companion to continue to level up with as individuals and as coaches. The best way to describe her and her style of training is “play.” Joanne recognizes, and is well educated in training principles, injury assessment and prevention and more, but what can’t be put on a resume is how she can make every exercise, workout or program, fun, and adapt it to what keeps you motivated and engaged. What better then an individualized program that keeps you engaged, and is still on track with your fitness goals? Joanne thanks for your ongoing support in the industry, but also for your genuine willingness to help fuel others through movement.

    Couch Potato Approved

    I’ve always known that fitness is important, but I had no idea where to start or if the YouTube videos I was following were even effective. Jo’s classes definitely put me on the right track and make you work! Every class is challenging and leaves you feeling incredibly accomplished (and this is coming from someone that enjoys being a couch potato). Her enthusiastic energy, attention to detail, and attentiveness brings another level of motivation that keeps all of us accountable and looking forward to the next class.
