About the company

There's more to it than simply hitting the ball.  Batting is 50% natural ability (strength, eye-hand coordination & overall athleticism); 25% approach (understanding what the pitcher, catcher & defense are attempting to achieve as well as what you're trying to achieve); and 25% technique (the physical methods used to hit the ball).  Long-term success at the plate requires all three.  But, having proper technique, in concert with the correct approach, can go a long way to closing the gap with a player who may have more natural physical ability.

I teach to hit the ball HARD.  The harder the ball is hit, the less likely a fielder will be able to get to the ball or be able to field it.  I teach to hit the ball TO the fence, not OVER it.  Homeruns are a positive byproduct of hitting the ball hard, just like winning is a byproduct of playing the game the right way.

When you come to me for lessons, you won't simply be paying someone to pitch soft-toss, front-toss or feed a machine.  If you can't articulate what your instructor is teaching you, then what's the point?
